and YAY for my housemate having a ROCKSTAR interview
      at the GAP!

YAY for my cute girlfriend and the awesome house we are
holed up in this weekend in Russian River. For some reason,
she didn't know that Guerneville was the Gay Riviera... the dog
is happy and just crashed out. House is awesome, great decks,
hot tub, and we brought great food (oh yeah, and a high speed internet connection here? yay!)...

I can't wait to get a group up here -- we can put K-F-E in the livingroom and another two in the study/pool house (where I am) and splash around in the hot tub and gourmet kitchen for a few days sometime this summer - wheee!!

And yes, K, you have to READ MY WEBLOG in order to find out where we are. :P

and yay to all the peeps that have found this tribe and actually have an interest in what is going on in my life ... um, one question tho ... why, people? WHY?

and i want several new members to know that ... i have never invited anyone to this tribe ... so you finding it and asking for an invite is ALL YOUR FAULT. and it gives me a warm fuzzy thinking about you being subjected to my random and pointless thoughts.

    *kisses*

I agree -- it's like I just busted out of a cave, with my last co-habitation experience being some sort of test to see if I would recognize and discard other people's shit that doesn't work for me. Everyone was so supportive after that break up and in helping me pack and move after my knee surgery and the whole year has really rocked. Even the part where I was living with whatsisname because it really kept me on my toes and forced me to question his behavior and more firmly draw my boundaries about what I thought was acceptable behavior and how far I was willing to go for a relationship.

      yes! it was wonderful!

i want to say thanks and YAY for Tom, without whose help the lapdance room would never have gotten together. he was up and down ladders making a room out of stage curtains!

thanks and YAY to flint who was worried that i wasn't eating and that i was stressed out. i wasn't stressed. i was just focused, but i appreciated the care he was taking of me!

thanks and YAY! to ember who kept bouncing in and out of the room giving me hugs and letting me pat her bum

thanks and YAY to all the volunteers who wiggled their booties for Curtis (and themselves). only two of my dancers had any pro experience and for the most by far it was their first time EVER dancing for strangers in this way. these folks have my sincere admiration. they put themselves on the LINE because we were doing it for a great cause ... and from all accounts had a wonderful fun and sexy time.

i think i gave 10 or so dances over the course of the night ... i was in and out ... and have to say that i had a blast. there was one creepy guy (and tho his attitude was GROSS ... he didn't get too fresh after i corrected him). the rest were really really fun. interpreting what peoples boundaries are by their body language, and giving them the show they wanted, was a challenge and fun. one guy was so shy he wouldn't take either of his hands off his water bottle! how does one give a lapdance with no lap to sit in?? ;)

i hope someone has pics of my outfit!

things i was proud of in my space:

the nice fit and flow of all the components past the ticket table to the chill area where you could see the lapdance room, dance pole, and erotic ice bar. i think it could have been even better if the room were slightly wider so that i could have switched the ice bar (and turned it along the curtain) and lapdancers. but all in all it was great!

lapdance room. having it "hidden" in a black cloth room made it seem more exclusive and desirable. having the inside lit more than the outside made it easy for people to see through the door - to what was so hidden. and having no lights around the entrance to blind the watchers built business. others commented and complimented on the red fabric around the door to the lapdance room ... making it look like a vulva, but that was serendipity and NOT ON PURPOSE ... though i would gladly revel in it if i had thought of it!

and YAY!! for the dedication that you, Flint & Ember demonstrated in sewing costumes for almost three weeks!

My sewing machine hasn't seen so much action since I finished my last quilt two years ago!

I know CeCe was also impressed by the amount of devotion you three demonstrated in the costume prep.
